I could swear this was said to have been a song used for "Dave TV" some years ago. I know nothing about Dave TV or when it was, but I've been told by DLR fans it's not VH, rather solo Dave.

I really like this tune. Very catchy.

Yeah, that's not VH. If it indeed was 1973 Daves voice would be a much less aged and deep. His voice was high on the Gene Simmons demos and those were from when, 1976 or 77 right?

    No way this is VH.

Hell, "Gentlemen of Leisure" from 1974-75 had those high vocals. This couldn't be Van Halen. No way.

It's DLR but not from 1973.

"Kicks" is a cover song of an old tune by Paul Revere and the Riders I believe.

When he used to do DaveTV in the 90's, I remember him saying he had tons of cover songs that he had recorded just for fun. There was a pretty average version of "Crosstown Traffic" by Hendrix that he did floating around as well.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
