BTW, with the buzz and the gross, I'd put money on a Die Hard 5 within 3 years.
‘Die Hard 5’ is in the works.
    27 February 2010

Bruce Willis confirmed a fifth instalment of the movie franchise, in which he has starred since 1988, is likely to be made in 2011.

He said: “I think we’re going to do a ‘Die Hard 5’ next year.”

The 54-year-old star wants Len Wiseman, who directed the last movie in the series ‘Live Free or Die Hard’ in 2007, to come back to do the next film.

He said: “I would hire Len Wiseman right now. It’s gotta go worldwide, is the only thing I would say and would be my contribution to it.”

Bruce also revealed his favourite movies to make are the ones that people find funny.

He told MTV.com: “I like so much more making fun of it, taking the piss out of it, not making it a big deal and not making the fact that I've acted in a lot of movies a big deal.

"It's all illusion, and it's all b*****t. It's a great job for me to have, but everything else you can set on fire. Making people laugh is the real deal."

Bruce is currently starring in comedy ‘Cop Out’ alongside former ‘O.C’ star Adam Brody.

This last one blew dick, so I would expect this one to just suck shit.

Way to take a great franchise, pull it out of the hall of fame, set it on fire, and piss on its ashes. Do these guys know George Lucas?

Seriously, when you can't say the most famous line every delivered in the series in a theatrical release, you should just put a shotgun in the franchise's mouth.

Don't call it Die Hard, it shits on the legacy. Call it: "Bruce Willis' Wrinkled Ass CGI'd to Look Like He Can Actually Still Do This Shit...I Mean Stuff...We Can't Say Shit Because the Coporate Lackeys Say We Need Wider Audience Appeal." But that just wouldn't sizzle I guess.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

Eh, all the CGI ruined the last one for me. They distorted what made the original premise so great and just turned it into a run of the mill action movie.

Yeah the CGI was really weak but I still liked it. The movie was better than DH3 for sure. I thought the third one was going to kill the series, but the 4th was a decent bounceback IMO.

I didn't really like how both movies deviated from the "one place" formula.

No shit man. The Unrated version of DH4 is better, but for some reason they only released the unrated version on DVD and not Bluray

My guess is so when they come out with yet ANOTHER Die Hard series package, they can put it out on bluray available ONLY as part of the package (probably after they release DH5)$$$$$$$$$$

We've had action movies with the star in his 60s (Rambo 9 or whatever the number was).

I'm waiting for the first action movie with a lead actor in his 70s. That should be epic!

I'm all for another Die Hard. I actually didn't mind the 4th one even though the story was kind of......ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Just DO NOT MAKE IT PG-13!!!!!!!!! (Edit: MikeyMetalhead got a head start with this sentiment a couple posts above this one. Well done and I agree 100 mother fuckin'%!)

John McClane is SUPPOSED to say FUCK and he is supposed to smoke.

Don't give fans the option of choosing between watching the CLEAN version and the UNRATED 'Willis says FUCK 5 times' version.

Precisely. Wasnt terrible. Very much a "turn your brain off" flick.

The original was an undisputed classic. The claustrophobic setting of being trapped in the skyscraper was like watching Indiana Jones as Martin Riggs in an Irwin Allen flick.

That being said, not terribly interested in a 5th chapter.
