Kyle, Don't know if it'll help you or not but I've bought from this guy before and service was GREAT!

    Thanks Man!
Anyone (Ron?) know what letter is on the Quarter on the original? It shows where the coin was minted.

If you're basing your replica on the Fender Frankenstrat, it's a Denver Mint according to this pic. The "D" is located down at the bottom of the wigtail! I don't have another pic large enough to see the mint stamp.

I know this isn't the original but here's another Fender replica with the "D" mint location:

The original quarter pic might have to be sent to CSI for pixel regeneration - HA!

    Im gettin two different answers.
One guy says its a "D".
The other said there wasn't anything at all.
Id go with the "D" cause he's more reliable.

I've got about 20 of 'em, and they ALL have the "D" for Denver on them.

Of course, you could google the following to find out for sure, but as a kid, I toured the Denver mint way back in the early '80's, and I want to remember that something was mentioned that while bills are printed in just about every mint, the different coins are batched, i.e. quarters come from a couple of mints, dimes from a couple, etc.

Don't quote me, and I'm probably wrong, but that memory is sticking out for some reason.

    Dive,

I'm in the bar business, and we generally go through $80-100 a day in quarters. Obviously I can't promise anything, but I can definitely keep an eye or two open in the future for ya, if you'd like...

...and it's actually easier these days to pick out the older quarters, thanks to the redesigned "state" quarters coming out.

The pic I enlarged is from another top secret image I have. At 1:1 you cant see anything on the Quarter. I enlarged it a little at a time and never saw anything up to where it is posted here which is about 5:1.

I might lean towards nothing stamped on it.

Kyle, I've got a few...I'll have to go and see if they're Denver or Philly but, outside of keeping at least one for myself for a project in the future, I'd be more than happy to just give 'em to ya...
