Default HOLY SHIT, A LIVE DVD! (with SAMMY....)

    From Blabbermouth.net-

    http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/bla...sitemID=134013

Looks like the '95 pay-per-view is getting a DVD release finally.

Well, with Dave rumored to be in the studio with Johnny 5,
and this news...guess the Roth reunion is pretty much toast.

Only Van Halen could have the biggest grossing tour of it's career (w/Roth), and follow it up with a LIVE DVD...feat Sam & Mikey!

Screw 'timing' and releasing a dvd from the tour they just did...
that would make TOO much fucking sense.

On the other hand, given that Ed doesn't sound very into the idea
of releasing new music, maybe the plan is-
release live stuff with Sam, and tour with Dave.

    DISCUSS

    Third possibility...
Notice the Wings logo on a Van Hagar product?

Maybe the band didn't have anything to do with this?

can you cut n paste please?

That site is blocked at work, for some reason.

So, by this time schedule, the 07 tour dvd weill be out in 2022, then?

Here's something odd...no mention of it on the official site,
and no comment from the band or band's 'mgmt' in the promo for it.

here ya go man...its really a whole lot of nothing. Doubt its an official release.
I mean really. Why would Ed release this at this point in time? he wouldn't.

VAN HALEN: LIVE FROM THE MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE 1995:
There is a listing in various online retailers in Europe for a new Van Halen DVD - Live From The Molson Amphitheatre 1995. But I fear that it might not be an official release at all, therefore any orders placed should be done with retailers that will refund should the title be removed from sale. It is a killer show....an official release would be brilliant, but with the band's current line-up concentrating on the DLR era, it seems this is not an official Warner release.
The DVD is of the band's much acclaimed 1995 Toronto performance with Sammy Hagar in the closing stages of the Balance tour. The show was broadcast on TV in Canada at the time and has been heavily traded ever since.
Tracklist: 1. Right Now 2. Big Fat Money 3. Top Of The World 4. Not Enough 5. Amsterdam 6. Mine All Mine 7. Drum Solo 8. Can't Stop Lovin' You 9. Feelin' 10. Eagle Fly 11. Guitar Solo 12. Why Can't This Be Love 13. Dreams 14. Poundcake 15. Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do) 16. Panama.

thats a bootleg not an official dvd.
i remember watching the show when it was on pay per view in 95.
i went down to my local cable office and had to get a box and hook it up to my tv to watch it.
i recorded it on vhs too.
it was cool because the whole band or just eddie and alex were live on the radio at the same time that the show was on tv and the audio was broadcast on radio with the band talking every now and then. i taped that too.

There is all kind's of crap released overseas that isn't official.

I picked up a DLR Double Live album from the Skyscraper Tour that looks as official as anything you could get at Best Buy (sounds great too!) when I was in London in the 90's, and he hasn't ever released a live album.

My guess would be that it is too big a pain in the butt to get lawyers involved for stuff happening over there. But that is obviously just a guess.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

And definately nothing with Sam.....or Mikey for that matter sadly. He's closed that chapter as petty as it is. Well unless Ed does that stupid thing Tom Bergeron does on Americas' Funniest Home Videos where they strip his huge head onto people's bodies in the videos. I can see it now. Dave and Wolfy's oversized heads stripped onto Sammy and Mikes' bodies, with three or four expressions on their faces used over and over. That would actually be pretty hilarious! (Hell they basically did it to Mikey on the first album cover!)
