    Default Soultone Cymbals

My son Sebastian (18) recently earned a sponsorship from a cymbal company: Soultone Cymbals. He's an excellent drummer and I'm extremely proud of him. Here are the terms of his sponsorship:
    1. It's a two-year contract.
    2. He gets 70% off all cymbals for the first year, and they are free during year two.
    3. Anytime he can, he needs to inform others that he uses Soultone Cymbals (CD credits, website, etc.).

Today, he received his cymbals from them: an Extreme series 24" ride and a pair of 13" Vintage series Hi-Hats. They are outstanding.

Any of you ever heard of Soultone?

Looks cool, wonder how they sound.

They remind me of this china I had,
a Terry Bozzio model, love it.

    Warm and dark,
not a thin wuhan type of traditional china tone...

They(at one time) made an entire line of them,
not just the china..or so I am told,
and I kick myself for not getting the whole thing..

Maybe Soultone Extremes are the answer...

Go to the links in my initial post. You can watch videos of the entire Soultone lineup.

Tell you what: once my son moves out of the house and I have to buy my own drum set, I'm getting these cymbals.
