    That would work!

I actually saw Alice In Chains open for Van Halen back in 1991 (I think) at Irvine Meadows (I think).

That would be pretty awesome. The last few openers have been way too safe. AIC may make VH up the ante a little. A sober Ed playing "Drop Dead Legs" and AIC as openers? I'd actually pay to see that...just not as much as I paid last time...not even close. New music?

Well it's not quite AIC, missing a pretty big part. The guy they got to replace Staley isn't bad, but still.

The record sounds like Staley is still alive, though. Spooky!

On some songs, on some, doesn't sound anything like him (not that it's a bad thing). I think it's more about hearing Cantrell's harmony that really does it.

I remember AIC's bassplayer filled in for Mikey one night in 91' during one song, cause Mikey was sick. Maybe on this tour he might take over Wolfies role permantly. LOL

a HUGE part. What a voice Layne had, and a true shame that he ended up "down in a hole" he couldn't climb out of. I've seen AIC twice with DuVall, and he does do a pretty good job, but it's not the same.
