I remember reading that Lemmy went nuts with Robbo's perfection, recording something like 15, 17 hours to each song just to make them sound that cool (for us), yet boring (to Lemmy and Taylor). I had the chance to see Motörhead live once (April, 2011) and it was much more than I could expect. Their set list included I Got Mine and Shine - to me, it was amazing to see that line up (Lemmy, Campbel and Dee) playing something from my favourite record.

Oh, and I almost forgot - I read somewhere that the track list in America is really different from the rest of the world. My versions here (CD and vinyl) has Back at the Funny Farm as the 1st song followed by Shine, Dancing on your grave, Rock it and One Track Mind closing Side 01. Then the Title track, Marching off to War, I Got Mine, Tales of Glory and Die You Bastard. The CD has this leftover, Turn You Round Again, a cool tune and a DVD with a live performance at the Manchester Apollo.
Mine is the same, in the US.

Plus, i have a bonus disc of a live show from that tour.
It was Deluxe reissued ten or twelve years ago, with a nice booklet/2 disc set and
CD cover that opens, similar to the original BOBW VH set.

"Shine" is so heavy, but with this cool swing feel that Motorhead could throw in.
It just grooves hard, yet it's this incredibly loud/in your face, rocker.
My foot taps when that thing comes on, because it just pushes you along like a
    huge wave.

Lemmy's bass is huge on APD, it's almost mixed like a second guitar.

Ah, that's fine, man! So there are no differences between our versions!!! Nice!!!!!!

I guess my daughter brought me this Deluxe release you mentioned 02 or 03 years ago as a b-day gift.
To this day, it still intact - since I do own other similar stuff, I thought it would be better to keep it that way!!!

Yessssss! The crescendo thing that both Lemmy and Roboo do repeating the same chords on Shine amazes me, even though it was their trade mark. When I got the APD vynil when it was released, I used to dig the music with its inner sleeve with me just to read all the details and weird graphics and the story within it. Even the slug complains about the band being on thre road, hehehehehehe!
