LOL. Na, movie aint that great. Other than Blondie is in it.
Debbie has some scenes with Loaf before this too. Probably her first acting role, I imagine.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe, Blondie fixed this song up for some release? Seems way too good for a B movie from 1980.

Outstanding live version of Crystal Ball on that soundtrack too.

    That was a great version.

When I talk about music and nostalgia, this band played a huge part in that. Midwestern boys like myself.

Equinox, Crystal Ball, Grand Illusion, Pieces Of Eight, was the band at it's apex to me. Honestly didn't care for Cornerstone that much, but was back on board with Paradise Theater. Snowblind is such a great tune!

Kilroy Was Here was huge for them , and I caught the gig at the Unidome in Cedar Falls, Iowa, but they became almost to popular for me. I think that was the beginning of the end for them too.

It's amazing to me they refuse to reunite with Dennis.

In a few issues back of, Rock Candy, Dennis practically pleads:
Guys, let's do this one more time, the fans deserve it, i have no ill will towards
    any member of Styx.

Then he does it again Classic Rock:
Why not do this one more time, i'm open to any & all of it.

He's like Sammy Hagar, but a bit more "heart on my sleeve" in his approach.

    But look:

    Styx won't do it.
    Van Halen won't do it.
    Skid Row won't do it.

Some serious bad blood must be flowing, on the other end.

DeYoung just sounds scorned. It is possible for people to just get fed up with someone. Plus they have that Lawrence guy who is actually better than DeYoung.

But you'd think the original Styx lineup might make more coin, and still JY & Shaw
    refuse.

DeYoung sounded like he was using both interviews to say:
    Guys! Come on!

They never forgave him for Mr. Roboto.

I remember in that “Behind The Music” episode they said he became a problem when they reunited with him. Too controlling if I remember correctly
"He has a swaggering retro machismo that will give hives to the Steinem cabal" -Camille Paglia on Donald Trump

"But, fucking with Brook is like fucking with hot shit on and ax handle. You just don't get a grip"-track5

"Make way for the bad guy"- Tony Montana

'This hamburger don't need no helper"- David Lee Roth

"I wish Bon Jovi would've given me a call before he recorded all of his hits, because the lyrics would've been smarter, the melodies would've been much more smashing, and they would've sold a lot fewer records." -David Lee Roth

"My beef is people thinking Bon Jovi is good cuz they sold lots of records to housewives." -tango

"But being number one doesn’t really mean jack fuck all. We sold twice as many records as other records that year (1984) that landed in the Number One position." ~Eddie Van Halen

Stuff I heard, Shaw is at least open to talking about it. JY is a hardcore No tho.

Would be neat tho. One last big arena tour.

I always thought it was Tommy that didn't want it. Not sure if I read that in the past or just assumed it.

From interviews and such it always seemed to me that James Young was the one that didn't like DD.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

My buddies and I wore out Grand Illusion and Pieces Of Eight back in the day. Cornerstone and Paradise Theatre weren’t nearly as good and Kilroy Was Here was the nail in the coffin.
