    Default Bypass Pedal Tuner Question

Can anyone recommend a guitar pedal tuner that is a true bypass pedal?

The Turbo Tuner is real popular at them moment. BUT. . .why do you think you want true bypass? My pedalboard was built by Dave Friedman at Racksystems (who also builds EVH's guitar rigs), and he used a Boss TU-2 specifically for the buffering it provides in the rig. Plus, it can be used to power additional pedals.

Just because a pedal is true bypass, that doesn't mean it sounds better, or is going to be better for your rig.

    Just food for thought.

If you like cool, rock music, check out REVERY. We've put out two albums, and an EP. We were signed back in '06 and toured the US (our single Popstar Wedding was all over the radio back then). Our latest album, Adora De Phonic is available on Itunes, Amazon, etc.

I agree in a pedal board setup the BOSS has benefits with the buffering, but if you only want the tuner in line with your amp I thought bypass would be the way to go.

Go with the Korg Pitch black!! I was turned on to it here by a good dude when I had a similar question. True bypass and the lighted display is big, not tiny like the boss and when you play out and it's dark you can tune quick in between tunes and quiet. The tuner is quick, accurate, has an extra plug in it if you want to chain it to another pedal and it's awesome. Our female singer plays some guitar and has the boss tuner and she see's my korg and loves it and seems to get frustrated with hers. The Korg look cool too..all black and small. Not bad in price either like 90 bucks.

I'm sure many tuners will fit the bill but the Korg pitch black is fantastic. I would be shocked if you weren't totally happy with it. Peace
