Default Bear Grylls gives himself an enema...seriously

I know people have been known to do extreme things to save their own lives ...amputation, canibalism....but giving yourself an enema with "fetid water" I don't know if I could do that

I expect to see this guy end up the same way as Stevo.

I love how people think this guy is so amazing when it comes to the outdoors. He's not doing anything to SAVE HIS LIFE. He has a camera crew with him. His life isn't in danger.

You want to see a REAL outdoor survival show:

This guy spends 7 days in remote locations showing the audience the best ways to survive. How to make shelter, find food.

But the best part? He's alone. No camera crews. Just him and his camera. He sets up the camera himself and records everything.

No bullshit. Watch some of his show clips on YouTube. They even address Bear in that interview above.

Pretty much true. I agree Stroud makes his show a little more dangerous than Bear. The facts are still there...how would you save your ass if you were stranded/alone/lost in any type of wilderness? Between the two of them, they have covered the globe!

    from Wiki:

Stroud carries an emergency satellite phone and normally has daily radio contact with his support crew that is always within rescue range.[2] However, Stroud has stated that while videotaping several episodes, there were times when his emergency phone did not work, leaving him totally alone[3] and has mentioned his concern that his rescue crew may become stranded with him. On a few occasions, Stroud has also been provided with a rifle for safety reasons or as part of the survival situation; In Season 1 Episode 05 - "Canadian Arctic," the local experts he consults insist that because of Polar Bears they would not let him go without a rifle.

Survivorman is boring as hell even if it is more "true."

I know Bear has a crew but it is far more entertaining. Plus he seems like he would be a fun guy to hang out with

Bear Grylls is a drama queen. Totally plays things up to the camera. Would you do any of those things that he does on his show if you didn't have to?

The Survivorman is a much more accurate portrayal I think of what to do and how to approach things when stranded. His show may be boring, but at least he's giving you knowledge. His ideas seem to go a lot further.

I watch Les as much as possible. The only time I watched a full episode of Man vs. Wild is when Bear had Will Ferrell on. I laughed the whole episode. Besides that, can't stand Bear...

LOL, we now have this thing called civilization and for me personally, I have no plans to need knowledge from either of these guys. The closest I plan to go near the "wilderness" is a KOA camp ground. It must be a guy thing, feeling like you can survive no matter the circumstances.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
