The solos, oddly, were somewhat close to album authenticity, yet the rest of the HFT clip was played as if he was in a hurry, or incapable.

.......or maybe I've had too many Busch Lights.......

Mr. Brownstone was just better overall, the tone sounded good on that one. Although he forgot where the song goes after the last verse.

No really bagging on his playing, but he was definitely rushing HFT although the solo was pretty good.

I know but sometimes that interferes, at least for me. Wasn't ripping his talent, didn't mean to come off that way. Not my intention .

Sorry if I sound like I missed the boat on something, they came out with a 5153 amp??? Does this mean they also have a 5151 and 5152 model?

It was a 5150 3 - the third version of Ed's 5150. I thought the same as you initially, until I saw the vid

I dont blame him for taking them off. I think all the douches that critiqued it should post some video of them. I would gladly do a head cutting dual with anyone here. Especially the ones that bag on others.

Okay then. So, to summarize, if you post links to a video of someone playing songs on the guitar that everyone--in a guitar forum--is very familiar with, it should be understood that no one in said guitar forum will make comments about that player's performance. That's a perfectly reasonable expectation.

    Closing.

Oh just to get my last two cents in because this thread was taken pretty wrong.

I wasn't ripping on the guy's playing, all I said was it sounded a little rushed, which made it hard for me to really judge the tone. That's just personal with me, right or wrong. That's all I fucking said, give me a break already.

There's plenty of video and audio (including my band's CD) of me playing guitar out there (I've posted some on here even), I never claimed to be the greatest guitar player on the planet. I think almost everyone here is a better player than me and would wipe the floor with my playing, but I still know rushed playing when I hear it. And I have NEVER bagged on ANYONE'S playing here, because I'm not a fucking dick. I appreciate everyone's playing.

    Ok I'm done.
