3? Except for the '60s and '00s, that's not a lot to work with! So I'll only do 1 album per artist per decade.

    '60s (in no particular order):

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
    Led Zeppelin - II

    '70s (possibly the toughest):

    The Eagles - Hotel California
    Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
    Supertramp - Breakfast In America

honourable mention: Van Halen, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivors, Led Zeppelin (the fourth album), Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here, KISS Destroyer, Aerosmith Toys In The Attic, Cheap Trick Heaven Tonight, Rolling Stones Some Girls, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Damn The Torpedoes...

    '80s:

    U2 - The Joshua Tree
    AC/DC - Back In Black
Guns 'N Fuckin' Roses - Appetite For Destruction

    '90s:

    U2 - Achtung Baby
    Cheap Trick
    Aerosmith - Nine Lives

    '00s:

U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
    Billy Idol - Devil's Playground
    AC/DC - Black Ice

Ok, so now that I have made fun of someone else's picks, here are mine

    1960's - tough for me, I don't have a lot of 60's albums

    The Beatles - Revolver
    The Beatles - White Album
    Led Zeppelin

1970's - tough decade, but these probably still get the most play for me

    Van Halen
    Led Zeppelin - Physical Grafitti
    Boston

1980's - now we are in my wheelhouse, had to put in five

Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Oz
U2 - Unforgettable Fire - I think it is far superior overall to the Joshua Tree, but what the hell do I know
    Def Leppard - Pyromania
    Rush - Signals

1990's - this decade sucks, but here goes the two I still even remember

    Metallica - Black Album
    Alice in Chains - Dirt

    2000's - I thought the 90's were bad

Metallica - Death Magnetic - no where near their best album, but everything else sucks so bad it made my list
    Rush - Snakes and Arrows
Iron Maiden - Dance of Death - great album, horrible cover art, took someone fifteen minutes on Photoshop to make it
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Haha.....I can appreciate that.

I think it's too easy to dismiss that album as a joke because it's Europe, but in the late 80's I was pretty obsessed with that album because of the guitar work on it. The lead guy on that CD has some of the best guitar playing of any 80's album I've ever heard. I think I always skipped Carrie but the rest of that album had some great 80's cheese on it.

It would be too easy to put WACF and Fair Warning on that list because of course they were all above anything else. Wanted to think outside of VH.....and that was one of the first albums to pop into my head because of how much I listened to it back then.
