Default VH's Jump to be Featured on Glee

Well, my wife and just about every woman I know seems to be obsessed with this show and I had a few of them tell me about Jump being featured on the next episode. He is the audio version from You Tube. (You've Been Warned).

OMFG these gay fucks ruined Journey now they've butchered Van Halen. I'd rather listen to Muzak than this crap.

I have no idea what Glee is, but I didn't think it was that bad. Nice interpretation of a classic pop tune to fit what they're doing.

Why so much hostility about it?

And I thought Journey ruined Journey.

Actually, it's kinda nice to see VH keeping some sort of relevance. All the comments on You Tube (including the other, shortened version) are very positive about the song.

    Default that's entertainment

The show is like Fame or High School Musical from what I've seen. Not a bad thing when you consider all the reality shit from the last ten years. Maybe this generation just doesn't have a clue about how cool all those cheesy weekly variety shows were in the 70's.

'Jump' wasn't too bad. Better than the Journey tune.

I mean, it's not something I'd buy, but if a glee club is going to cover Van Halen, it could sound worse.

I bet you this is some sort of marketing ploy to try to sell more Guitar Hero Van Halen games. I can see a commercial for this coming tonight during the shows time slot.

I don't think it's a marketing ploy. I doubt Van Halen was specifically looking to get their song on the show. I've never watched it, but my roommate has downloaded almost every song that's been on the show, and they pull songs from all different genres and arrange them a cappella. It's kinda cool, I think. And really, Jump is a logical song to pick from the 80's; it's about as recognizable with today's generation as Don't Stop Believin'. I would bet that Glee came to Van Halen instead of the other way around.

I thought it was good if that's your thing. They certainly didn't butcher it and it was fairly true to the original.

I bet Dave loved it and Eddie hated it.

I love Glee. It's a great show. I really liked the Journey tune. I've liked just about every song they've done. I don't download them, but I've certainly enjoyed it. You could almost call me a Gleek. Now, in tribute to Curb Your Enthusiasm: Having said that,

CHOIRS SHOULD NOT SING ANY VAN HALEN SONGS! EVER!!!

I may no longer be hetero after watching that because I have a craving to watch Sex in the City right now

Sorry but this is definitely not my thing and but at least they got McLovin to play the guitar in Don't Stop Believing.
