They should've also won "best album." AC/DC's Black Ice is good, but not as consistent as CF.

I actually like Black Ice better, and I am not a huge AC/DC fan. Not meant as a dig at the Foot, I just thought Black Ice was indeed better.

I guess they are not considered Classic Rock yet, but I thought Death Magnetic was better than both, but maybe that was released in 2008?
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Black Ice was released in October, 2008. Death Magnetic was also released in 2008.

So...why Chickenfoot lost to Black Ice is beyond me. Don't get me wrong, Black Ice is a VERY good album top to bottom, but if we're going by date accuracies, Black Ice was released more than a year ago.

But when these awards happened last year, Black Ice was merely a few weeks old and couldnt have been included in the voting.
