Cool list ... but Sambora #6? That CD was crap. I have a limited edition version of that CD and it actually came with dog tags that had Richie Sambora on them. Hilarious.

Well, I love Dave so, yep! I think EEAS should've got placed higher. I absolutely LOVE that album, and THAT particular tour was the one where I was only inches from Dave. DANG! That was one good show! I'll never forget it!

EEAS is without a doubt DLR's best solo effort. Started great and slid from there.

Peter Gabriel 1 is the PG album they chose?? That's not even close to being his best. It has some great songs on it, but several that just don't hit their mark. It's better than PG2, but his other 5 albums are definitely better IMO.

I agree, that is an odd choice. Outside of "Solsbury Hill", it is a fragmented sounding album. I would have gone with the 3rd PG album (the "Melting" one), as there isn't a bad track on it, or the outstanding "Plays Live", which came from the tour supporting the "Melting" album.

"So" may have been heavily commercial, but it was Gabe's best IMO.

And Trevor Rabin's "Can't Look Away", Rik Emmett's "Absolutely" and Geddy Lee's "My Favorite Headache" belong on that list as well.

Oh yes you can! I love lots of people. Now, being in love with a guy is different.

I love Dave, I think he's a looker, he's just not my type, and (sorry Dave) doesn't get me hot.

I agree with LLFHS's assessment on Gabes. "So" was indeed his best despite it's heavy commercial rotation, I'd say.

And whoever said "Stranger In This Town" is a crap album I think you need to listen to it again. Excellent blues album from the best singer in Bon Jovi and one of the better guitar players around. If anything I think it should be higher on the list than #6. Fish's "13th Star" album was good but not better than SITT.

I saw Sambora playing a small club on the SITT tour.

What an amazing show, I got a serious bromance for him ever since.

He's a wreck now, but I think that is soulful playing at its best. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Another note, as much as I like EEAS, the sucker barely clocks in at 30 minutes and aren't three songs covers and one song an old Talas instrumental that he added lyrics to?
