From tikigod on yahoo groups--he's been dead on as of late...sorry if this should be posted somewhere else, but he's been right lately, so maybe it should be in this forum...

here ya go...

none other than Diamond David Lee RALPH's guitarist (yes, at least for the
moment-
another Atomic Punks training camp graduate.).

Why is Bart Walsh out? He's owed money and was foolish enough to ask for it.

Hagar/ Roth meeting happened roughly 12 days ago at Azoff's (Hagar's manager) LA

office.

The 3 met briefly (30 minutes) and figured they would float the idea to
promoters
thinking they would be able to get $100k per show (that would be $50K each).
Thus far
the highest offer for the Deadrocker and Diamond Diva has been $35k ($17.5K
each)
for the package (St. Louis, MO.). No tour unless they can fill venues holding
more than
3K. Doesn't look likely.

Donor

At what point did the Atomic Punks officially become David Lee Roth's farm team??

David Lee Roth-"Get the kid up here!"

Ralph Saenz-"Quit skipping steps. He's good, could even be great one day, but I just don't think he's ready for the show!"

Announcer-"Folks, we've got a real barn burner going here at the House of Blues. The fiery young kid from the minors is holding his own, but he looks as nervous as a pimply virgin on prom night. But give the young kid credit, he's made it to the late innings here, and he's up against a legend right now. Here's the wind up, AND HE NAILS THE INTRO TO "I'M THE ONE"!!!!!! That's a baptism of fire ladies and gentlemen, that might be the end of this kid as a minor leaguer. No more riding the buses for little money. Now, playing on the big diamond for 'The Big Diamond', he'll be playing for NO money, since Dave rarely seems to ever pay anyone for their services!"

I just don't understand how this "tikigod" - who I think it's a safe bet to say is "tk" knows so much since he's supposedly been out of the Dave camp for awhile. But it's obvious his agenda is to make Dave look bad (not that Dave can't do that all by himself), so I'd read what he says very carefully - not that it's not necessarily true, but he's always gonna spin it from a negative angle it seems.

From what I have heard is that Sammy initiated the talks with Dave.
He allegedly called him a couple weeks ago and they met for lunch.

Betcha Sammy paid.

If not, they would have been washing dishes. Come on Dave, give us a break. It sounds like DLR better accept whatever bone EVH is throwing his way. It sure looks like the holdup to the VH reunion is $$$$$$ afterall. What a surprise.

But that was in front of about 15,000 people. How many people do you think are going to show up for a Sammy and Dave show? If Eddie, Alex and Michael aren't there, I won't be either.
