    Looks good so far.

    Gotta love this shit.
I always "mock up" a guitar before I even start. No matter how bad I wanna see it done. I just have to see if everything "works" correctly.
Im blessed to have vendors that ship parts as soon as I order.
usually it only takes no more then two weeks to check off everything on the list for mock up.
I hate the thought of repairing a nice paintjob cause of modifications. Happened to me once and It'll never happen again.

    Keep us posted.

Well, I custom build and fit per order based on specs that differ from customer to customer, or I would ship immediately too. Jimi knows he's gonna love what he gets from me that's why he comes back. Everybody has their preferred vendors.

Does the Floyd block actually rest against the tremolo route or is there a small gap? It's hard to tell by looking at the photo - good job!

Is there a huge difference in sustain compared to a one that that doesn't touch - big block or an original? I'm in the process of routing a body and thought about routing the trem cavity with it touching - thanks!

Yes, there is a difference. For example: Play a chord on your guitar unplugged. Now play it again , but this time have the body (or even the headstock for that matter) make contact with an object like a table, chair, wall etc.. and you will notice an increase in volume and vibration.
