Default Eddie At Final NIN Show Last Night

Along with a large group of celebrities that included Rick Rubin, Tony Hawk, Jim Carrey and Ron Jeremy that were seated in the front of the balcony at The Wiltern Theater last night for Nine Inch Nails final show, Eddie was also there. I couldn't tell if he was alone or not from my vantage point on the floor, but when they were all brought in about 15 minutes before the show started, a huge cheer went up in the crowd as these celebs were recognized as they were being seated.

I did one of my long, rambling reviews of the show in the NIN thread on the music forum if anyone wants to read about the show itself.

OK...Rick Rubin, Tony Hawk, Jim Carrey and possibly Edward Van Halen score tickets for the final NIN show. Can anyone explain to me how Ron (The Hedgehog) Fuckin' Jeremy always manages to get a VIP ticket to these shows? I mean, come on! The man's work ain't that notable.

I hung out with NIN backstage at their show here in Minneapolis last November. ALL very cool guys, and great musicians too.

and plus, he can blow himself, so I guess he's an interesting person to have at a party.

Isn't Ron Jeremy like 69 by now??! I didn't think he'd keep up with the (relatively) new music scene.

Even people who aren't porn watchers know who Ron "The Hedgehog" Jeremy is. For some reason, is work is quite notable. I think it's because of his looks. He's not all buffed out. He's got a pretty cheesy moustache. He's kind of a hairy guy. I mean, he could just be some sleazebag off the streets and he's doin' some beautiful - in some peoples' eyes, not mine - women.

What I want to know is why Eddie - a guy who said that Peter Gabriel's So album was the last album he bought and who said he doesn't have time to listen to or really care for new music - was at the NIN show? Interesting.

I was about ready to post the same thing about Eddie and his supposed lack of knowing anything music related past So.

My friend met Ron Jeremy at the Playboy Mansion a few times. Says he is cool but then again I think he wanted to do his girlfriend.

Look, I've met the guy and had a conversation with him during the course of an evening a few years ago. He's a likable schlubb. This does nothing to explain how he somehow manages to get on the A-list of any happening taking place.

Probably because he has the ability to suck himself off.
