Default Making some fenders for a change..:)

Ok...well, after finaly getting some paint, decided to start with 2 realy reliced Fenders... The black Beauty i like to call the tele, and the sea foam green strat. still a work in progress, but slowly getting there.

I got 4 guitars to make, the other 2 are a Butterscotch tele, 50's style and a sonic blue strat, early 60's style all heavy reliced.

I just love doing that stuff..

I like them both, Alain, but the black Tele looks really cool!

Not sure how far along in the process you are... I'd suggest sanding down and smoothing most of the transitions from paint to bare wood.

The wear spots look in mostly the right places but look like the paint was chipped off rather than worn off over time...

On the strat I would have left some paint along the left edge of the pickguard assuming you are simulating pick wear on the finish.

Interested in seeing these finished though.

WOW! I am a Strataholic and that Seafoam Green is sweet! Very close to a Lake Placid Blue.

Are you using Alder or Swamp Ash for the Fenders?

Hey Guys..thanks for the comment. As for wood. both are in Ash right now. the strat's not sanded out yet. so will be a lot better when it is.
