I live and work in Washington and Oregon. Weed stores everywhere.....More than you would think. The only thing I don't like is huge billboards with weed logos everywhere. It's not a great look in my opinion. I'd like to see some limits on the advertising, especially around schools. I really don't partake nowadays, so no real benefit to me either way. Does reduce the black market, so that's a plus. And a bit of tax revenue for the states, and the weed is getting cheaper by the day.

Yeah I'm guessing you won't see that here. Sounds like it'll be like liquor is done. Licenses won't he handed to just anyone to open a retail establishment. Personally I was hoping they would just add weed to the liquor stores since the infrastructure is already built. But that would make far too much sense.

I'd vote yes. And then I'd sell chocolate chip cookies in the "weed bars".......Cha Ching!

Have they banned smoking in arenas like they have here in the US?

The first time I got high was from 2nd hand smoke in the 70's at my first concert.

Personally, I'd rather have MJ smoke, and not tobacco smoke, to deal with at an event or concert, rather than the smell, the assholes and the stickiness of beer on the floor, that comes with heavy beer drinkers of all ages. In fact pot + beer is something that shouldn't be mixed in public, imo.

Can't speak for the entire country but in Ontario you can't smoke in damn near any public place. Not in restaurants, bars, not within a certain number of feet of a building's entrance, etc

    Great News if this happens.

    http://www.nydailynews.com/life-styl...625-story.html

Congress may legalize hemp-derived CBD soon

Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that can be derived from industrial hemp and the whole cannabis plant. Although cannabidiol is medically beneficial and non-psychoactive, courts sided with the Drug Enforcement Administration last month that CBD is considered a marijuana extract under federal law. Therefore, as a marijuana extract, CBD falls under the broad definition of cannabis in the Controlled Substances Act, which classified marijuana, and marijuana extracts like CBD, as a Schedule I federally illegal substance in the U.S.

Industrial hemp is a whole different story. Not only can CBD be derived from hemp, but hemp can make numerous products like rope, gasoline/fuel, clothing, and more. Hemp is also heralded as a fantastic rotational crop for farmers, as the plant rejuvenates soil and naturally deters weeds and insect problems.

Why is this important? It turns out that a bill has recently been circulating around Congress, and its intention is to legalize hemp and hemp-derived CBD. Read on to learn more about this bill, the likelihood that it’ll get passed, and the future of hemp-derived CBD.

    Hmm. Interesting.

"Nevada traffic deaths dropped 10 percent in first year of recreational marijuana"

"One of the concerns of recreational marijuana opponents was that traffic fatalities and DUI arrests would increase if pot was legalized..."

I'm guessing the two have nothing to do with each other. There is no reason to think that legalizing pot would lead. to fewer people driving high. Just makes no sense.

The interesting part for me is, opponents said traffic fatalities/DUI's would increase. They didn't. As always with marijuana...hyperbole.

Exactly chris with his freshly washed balls oozing of JDs shame would be the expert as our resident drug kingpin. He is a one man fucking cartel. This entire refer thing being pushed by cartels disgusts me. No decent person would participate in this.
