Default Eddie Van Halen and Angus Young

I went to the AC DC show in Tacoma WA last night and I was struck by how different Eddie VH and Angus Young are today.

Angus every night moves all over the stage and out in the walk way into the middle of the arena. He must lose 5+ pounds a night working the arena or stadiums like it was his last show ever. I am worn out watching him. For that matter, Brian Johnson moves around like he is 30 instead of 62 years old.

Eddie has become kind of a monk, hooked to a "wire" standing in front of Alex and moving basically in a 10' circle. He has gotten a bit boring to watch. Back in the day he not only was great to listen to but fun to watch working the crowd/stage. He was never one to move around like Angus but he least he got around a bit. Yes I know Angus has his brother playing with him and Eddie does not have another guitar player on stage but we do know they have been piping in sounds for awhile.

guys running around on stage, rolling around on the ground and all that stuff has never really done much for me. I think it's neat to see someone get caught up in the moment and do something...Eddie Vedder has had some incredible moments on stage, but it's not necessary. Granted, I saw Three Dog Night and it was perhaps the most boring show I've ever been to. There was absolutely nothing about it that seemed "live." No one moved, at all, and the songs were so note perfect that it felt like I was just listening to the cd.
    Stay out of it, dude.

Maybe his hip replacement has something to do with it.
