    Default Sammy using Marshalls

Went to the Chickenfoot show in Baltimore last night. Sammy is no longer using his crate amps and was using 2 Marshalls. Couldn't tell what model it was but it wasn't a JVM. Anyone know?

I was there too and he was using a Marshall I think it was same as Joe's. Really enjoyed the couple of songs Sammy and Joe played together on.What a great show. They are better live as I suspected. The acoustics at the Lyric Opera House were beyond belief.

I went to see them in Cork. Not everybody agreed with me but I thought they were better with both Sammy and Satch on guitar.

At 5'7" and loaded on alcohol I didn't/couldn't see what amp either were playing.

Great show though, Sammy drank Guinness straight from the can. For those who don't know, you don't do that.

Joe was using the JVM210. If it was a newer Marshall, it looked like Sammy was using a Vintage Modern but I couldn't tell but Sammy's amp had less knobs then Joe's.

But yeah, that was an awesome show. I wish they played Highway Star. And that song they said they wrote right before the show about a guy who was passed out at their NYC show the night before was pretty funny with Chad singing. "Passed out! Passed out! Passed out! Passed out in the front row!"

Yup, Sam was playing Marshalls here last week, and it was definitely a different head than what Joe was playing. They must have collectively been offered a nice endorsement deal.

I also noticed at the KC show last week that Sammy's backline was Marshall...guess I didn't really think twice about it.

And I'm no Marshall expert, but here are a couple of pictures...if you guys can tell anything from them:

    Here's Joe's new 210:

and here is one of Sammy's "mystery" head:

...as said above, looks to be a Vintage Modern.

That's cool, I'm glad to see Sammy switch up.... But you know that he wasn't playing a stock Crate, I'm sure it was loaded per his specs and just as good as anything else he's ever played.
