    Default Your Les Pauls

In honor of the man, If you have pictures of any Les Paul's you own, lets see them. Here are the three I have.

    The white Epiphone Custom
The Black Gibson Invader ( a les paul with a bolt on neck from the mid 80's )
and my goldtop Les Paul Deluxe a la Pete Townsend.
I love these guitars. Thanks Les.

Here's my '96 TV Yellow Special...

    http://www.angelfire.com/ca2/smithtone/gi/special3.jpg

    From Wikipedia:
"The idea behind this TV Yellow was that white guitars would glare too much on early black and white television broadcasts, whereas TV Yellow guitars would not cast a glare."

    RIP Mr. Paul

Pictured is the only LP I've ever owned--a 1996 wine red Studio with chrome hardware--sold now almost three years ago. It sounded incredible, but wasn't quite "the one."

I've been building an LP-style guitar--mahogany body and neck, green flame maple top, GFS '59 pups. It's done, only I've been having some trouble keeping the Gotoh wraparound bridge stable.

Someday I hope to own a nice Les Paul again. (Maybe soon, if Dino wants to sell me that Standard Faded! )

    Default mine...

Apologize for the mug in this one.....looks like I just farted!!. It's not a Gibson, just an Epiphone Classic Quilt Top. Plays pretty good for the off-brand though, and that's all that matters to me! RIP and many thanks to the man..........

I think I posted this somewhere in another thread, but my stupid sister pawned by dad's Les Paul about 10 years ago. It was a late 60's model.

    Default My Les Paul 25/50

In tribute to the late Les Paul, I would like to share my "Log" with everyone. It seems to be an odd topic considering where were at..i.e. a tore up stratocaster, but never the less.
I purchased a 25/50 Les Paul back in 98 for a nice price. I always wanted a Paul, but didn't really care for a new one like everyone else has. I worked with a guy who was a huge Kiss fan and a resident Les Paul expert, who told me about the 25/50.
The 25/50 was mfg in 78/79 to celebrate the 25 years of Les Paul model and 50 years of Les Paul in the music business. It featured a number of "unique" features, which if you are interested take a look.

    Here are a few pictures
The original case, Rolling Stone Ad, and the rare belt buckle
