Default Who had the coolest Guitars???

Ok, I am back again with another question. What 80's guitarist had the coolest guitars. The guy that when he took the stage you were looking to see what he had strapped on.

I gotta go with Warren Demartini....... your thoughts?

wasn't whathisface from Cheap Trick always trotting out unique or gimmicky guitars? Like the 5-neck thing he has?

I was never much into that whole scene. CC Deville was said to have owned hundreds and hundreds of guitars and he took a shit load of them with him on stage and I just never cared.

Give me Richie Sambora trotting out strat after strat any day...especially today, his playing and his tone has gone to shit since he had that tech of his make that silly guitar for him.
    Stay out of it, dude.

Aside from the ones already mentioned:

I'm assuming Eddie is a given in this category.

Steve Vai- Besides the arrival of the Monkey Grip, he had the Double neck Heart guitar, and the Flame guitar.

Neal Schon, the Schon guitar was pretty cool at the time.

Phil Collen, he was big on having the custom graphics painted on his Jacksons, as well as his own original design.

And lastly, but by no means least, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. C'mon, how can you not think a furry guitar is cool. Besides than one, he had a pretty cool arsenal.

yep. I tell ya, this guy, came from the school of Hendrix, the Beatles, ZZ and Little Steven. How he ended up playing such a goofy guitar, wearing fake tattoo t-shirts and playing that gibberish that Jon Bon keeps cranking out is beyond me.

From the 80's? Beside EVH, I liked Randy Rhoads white Jackson V and Steve Vai's Jems. I also dug Joe Perry's guitars. I dig Les Pauls and he's used some beautiful ones.

Much as I hate to say it, given where I'm from, you can take the Guido out of NJ but you can't take the NJ out of the Guido...or as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog asked Heather Locklear: "Does Ritchie feather his pubes?"

Too bad. He's a talented guy in a mediocre, although popular band.

Bon Jovi's music has been embarrassing for a long time.

His talent was always wasted in that band. Capable of so much more than the dipshit tunes he does with them.

besides Eddie, I always liked THE JACK DANIEL'S BASS just joking.
I never really liked the graphic guitars, like the ones Warrant or Poison used, but I always thought George Lynch's guitar was really cool, and Steve Vai's Passion and Warfare guitar was amazing.

I love Uli Jon Roth's Sky guitars, the ones with about 600 extra frets and 70-80 db pickups.
