Default Howard Stern On Demand: EVH & DLR Impressions This Week

If anyone has Howard Stern On Demand, there are two episodes where comedians do EVH and DLR impressions currently airing. Craig Gass was in the studio and admitted, after some prying, that he crashed at Ed's house for a while just before the '04 tour took off. There wasn't much in the way of info, although he did mention that everyone had to leave when they were rehearsing. Tension before they even got on the road maybe? The funny thing is that he does a dead on impression of Ed and even gets the facials expressions and mannerisms right.

Later in the week Jim Breuer (aka Goat Boy and Joe Pesci on SNL, etc.) was in with Billy Mirra. Mirra does a killer DLR and has done prank calls and bits for the show as DLR in the past. The premice for this week's bit was that after failing in traditional radio, Dave gets a new radio gig...this time on CB radio doing a show for truckers. It's fucking hilarious! Check either one out if you can.

"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne

"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello

"A lot of bands mature, which means they get square; they start delivering messages. Hey, you got a message, use Western Union." -DLR

Billy Mira is still doing his Dave shtick huh? He's hilarious. Probably the only guy who can impersonate Dave well.

Actually, I bet Dave is easy to do for someone who's good at impressions. Dave's just so over the top that you wouldn't even have to exaggerate and there's mountains of footage that you could study. The EVH impression that Craig Gass did really killed me because you'd either have to be a hardcore fan and see every interview available or actually spend some time with Ed to get it right.

Unfortunately, it's not up on youtube...yet. But here he is roasting and Impersonating Gene Simmons:
