Default "The Secret Gig" 1/27/95 Luxor, Arnhem, NL (Pro-shot?)

This is a series of interesting little clips. The video is from the so-called "secret gig" in Arnhem, Holland in early 1995. It features a handful of different camera angles that fold together fairly seamlessly, with decent sound quality. This is merely a brief sampling of the material, as there are a few more of these available at Youtube. There is a track listing at vhboots for the CD version of this that includes the following tunes:

    1. Poundcake 5:55
    2. Judgement Day 5:24
    3. Don't Tell Me 5:39
    4. Amsterdam 8:01
    5. Panama 4:45
    6. Standing on Top of the World 4:57
    7. Feelin' 6:12
    8. Best of Both Worlds 6:39
    9. Ain't Talking 'Bout Love 4:20

Thanks Chef. I've had this CD for years but never seen any video from this. The crowd even signs Happy Bday to Eddie at one point.

I think I have this on VHS, it's pretty good. Sam's voice is strained during DTM but aside from that it's a good representation of the band from this period.

it was shown on european MTV (headbangers ball maybe?) and it also had a ton of interview footage-that was on youtube awhile ago don't know if it's still there.

I remember my brother and I listening to this on the radio live out in the garage..... cranked! yeah Sammy's voice seemed a bit strainy but it's all good. It was cool to hear.

    Thanks really cool.
By the way it's Seventh Seal instead of Poundcake.

I think Sam was sick on the opening leg of the Balance tour.

Sam got sick a lot in the early 90's if I remember.

He was sick when I saw them on the FUCK tour, could barely sing.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
