Default Finally, something cool about Live Nation...

    and hopefully Tickemaster will follow...

You can now view actual available seats, and select from what you see... Not just take what they give you online...

I've always been able to do this when going to ticketmaster. I'm confused.

Oh wait...I just read that again...that is cool. I've been able to do that at other ticket places. It's cool to be able to do it for live nation.

They still suck balls though and tossing fans a bone like this doesn't even come close to shifting my focus away from what's wrong with the ticket industry.

They started doing that here in CT at their venues a few months back. It doesn't start when the show goes on sale though. They only allow that a bour 2 weeks after the on sale date.

I've bought tickets online from tiny box offices for fairgrounds and community centers that allow me to pick my own seats from a map of the venue so I don't see what's so hard for a juggernaut like Live Nation or Ticketmaster to pull off the same thing.

I really see no reason to applaud them. Fuckers.

this would be great if I was still a concert go-er. Sadly I'm turning into a tired old hack.

This would be welcome news, if both TM and LN were to reduce their fees, especially when ordering multiple tickets. Any way you look at it, it's still a friggin' monopoly, and it still sucks.

I was told of the same deal but when I went to buy the tix they were $39.00, no service fee, and a free drink with hot dog. Still a nice deal but not the deal I was expecting to see. No idea why some concerts are one deal and some another.

And FYI it was lawn seats only at that deal. Reserved pavilion seats were the normal price and $14.50 PER TICKET service fee. Can you imagine that?? They're charging $29 fucking dollars in fees for 2 tickets being shipped to the same address. Fucking criminal I tell ya.

Gotta give HUGE props to Live Nation for this new feature of being able to choose your seats. I just used it to buy tix to CF in Boston in August and it was damn cool. Was able to get a look at all open seats in the venue and pick what I wanted. Snagged a great spot in Section 3 on the inner aisle.
