Default VH1 getting ready for RED!!!

I'm nearing completion of the VH1 aging...went faster than I thought it would. I didn't know that in the process of painting, that the imperfections of the black stripes were to be painted. So, I ended up using an x-acto to get the lines I needed. The areas of wear by the quarter, and the area to the left of that, I ended up scoring the wood too deep. Wasn't real happy with it. And even with wood putty, I don't know if it could be corrected. There's a guy at work who is a big "VH" fan, I'm pretty sure he's gonna buy it from me, so I'll get to try again! Not that I think this turned out too terribly bad though.

Ya gotta understand, the wear by the quarter just wasn't paint scraped off like the Fender. They were nice chunks. Not big, area wize, but deeper then a paint scrape.
