Default Kramer 5150 black stripe question

Ready for black stripes on my 5150 replica. Only made one mistake with the white stripes, a placement issue, a big one but, oh well. I think Ed used some sort of template for black. I have a picture of a 1984 Kramer replica (striped, not musicyo) recently taken and the black looks the same. I'm told its the same guy who built some for Ed, so I assume same painting technique. I'm thinking of taping a little and using a small roller for the black stripes. It'll save time. But will it look like crap? I'm going for a "played" look. Not exactly reliced. Definetly not new either. What do you guys think? Probably do it tomorrow morning. Will a roller show to much orange peel? Thanks for your help!

Just reverse mask it like you'll be doing for the black stripes.
If I remember correctly, you were going to clearcoat it?
If so, it's good that you caught it BEFORE you did your clearcoat.
The clearcoat should also help blend your touchups a little too.

Exactly what I was thinking. The 1/2 vertical stripe that goes top to bottom on the left is a bit crooked. I thought it was straight. I was wrong. Gonna try to fix it tomorrow. Thanks. I'll try to post a pic later. On my iPhone right now!
