I have two: A maple one, after a fret crown and polish it's great. One draw back is if you're putting a floyd rose nut on it, it doesn't have a lot of room for the "shelf" for the nut, but still do-able.
The second one I bought (rosewood fingerboard) came pre-routed for the floyd rose nut, and they do a good job there. The bad thing about this one was that I didn't read the fine print about it coming with medium frets. I like 6105 fret wire , so I had to re-fret it.

Bottom line, they're good necks for the money, just do your homework, and be ready to do a little fret work.

I've used them new right on guitars without even doing fretwork (now, I should also mention that my supplier is the largest mighty mite dealer in the country, and so he inspects each and every neck for quality, and even does any required fretwork himself!)

They are AMAZING necks for the price. Heck, they'd be amazing necks for half again as much.

Let me know if you wanna buy from my supplier, I'll post the link -- he has a huge ebay store with GREAT prices on MM necks (which are also all inspected by him just like the ones he sells in person).

    I agree with this post.
I've been using and gettin them from the same guy for almost 6 years.
Never had to deal with any fretwork with the exseption of filling the ends.
Even though the Floyd nut has some overhang, you have enough to work with. Same fretboard length as a Kramer beak neck. Same amount of overhang.

I was advised to stay away from Mighty Mite necks a few years ago, but once I started using them I found there to be no problems. (Their lesser reputation of the late-70s/early-80s still hangs in the air, apparently.) Like with most new necks, though, you often need to do some fret work.

My favorite Strat necks so far have come from AllParts: http://www.allparts.com/store/necks-...s,Category.asp. Very comfortable C-shape, and they come unfinished, so you can do a single coat of Tru-Oil, steel wool, and wax on them. Awesome!

    Get them here:

    http://stores.shop.ebay.com/JCs-Guitars__W0QQ_armrsZ1

JC's Guitars, in Illinois. Trust me on this one, you won't find better prices with this guy's service and quality.

I did notice he only has 1 neck up for sale right now -- just wait a few days an I'm sure more will show up, or shoot him an ebay message telling him what you'd like.

If you realy want a MightyMite neck, consider you'll need to get the frets leveled. and mostlikely get the neck straighten out as well.

these guys have a LOAD of MM necks you'll surely find what you need
