Default EVH Performing Panama W/Paul Shaffer's Band On Letterman-1985

Yep, this comes and goes at Youtube every few months. A trim and fit Ed runs through a decent jam with "The World's Most Dangerous Band" sometime in 1985. Catch it now, before NBC pulls the plug.

Yeah, it's amazing how often this one pops up and then gets yanked again.

So, what's up with the Olds avatar there, chef?

That's a session bassist by the name of Neil Jason, filling in for Will Lee. Jason played on tons of records in the seventies, and I believe he even did some work for Gene Simmons (either with KISS or the solo album).

That's so weird! I was digging through my old GP archive, and I came across a feature on him from 1987. Mind you he looked alot more clean cut for the article, but I could not believe the guy's discography. He's played for so many people it's rediculous. He's quite well known for his work with Roxy Music, but he's done so much session work, and fill in work.
