    Default guitar builders,got a problem need advice.

    well i started putting together my KNE franky body tonight.i was putting the claw(that the springs to a floyd bridge attaches to) on the back of the guitar in with screws that i had holding the claw on my old body.one of the screws broke off flush with the wood.im at a lost for ideas of how to get it out?its in northern ash and is in there pretty good.

    Start by seeing if you can pry out the screw with a long nose pliers. If you can get a grip on it, you might be able to turn it out slowly. If that doesn't work, you may have to just drill a small channel parallel to the screw, which will then allow you the space to loosen it and pull it out. You'll then have to plug the hole.

    +1. Yep. Also, you can get broken bolt/screw/drillbit removers. They are basically a fancy backwards spiraled drill bit that bite into the broken end and rotate it out.

    yeah,thats what i kind of thought.i dont think pliers would work,im going to check on a screw extractor tomorrow..
