    Default David Gilmour Fender Relic

After a couple of months I decided on getting a DG Fender relic. To tell you the truth when I saw that this guitar was being released I said to myself "I want it." Outside of EVH there has been no one else more influential than Gilmour and Pink Floyd to me in music. I know the whole relic vs building one vs relic'ing yourself situation exists but this was guitar for me. One of the concerns with this guitar is the multi-layering of the 2 colors and the tone of the guitar and I am more than happy with the results.

I was fortunate to deal with Rat from the forums and he put up with my never ending questions about it plus I got a good deal on it.

Here are some pictures. I am going to get some better/closeup pictures up soon.

That all sounds like as good a reason as any for getting a guitar that you want and will appreciate.

And Rat is indeed a very good guy to know and deal with.
