Default Balance Tour started 14 years ago today

damn I'm old, I remember it like yesterday.....the band didn't seem as tight (not musically but friendship wise) in all the interviews leading up to this tour. I've seen the first night on pro shot a bunch of times and it's not the greatest performance they ever gave but still pretty damn good. They did pull it together and were on fire when I saw them at an outdoor venue over the summer of 95....

just hard to believe that so few "good" things have went down with this band since this tour started.

I have a really good boot from that tour from Philly. Band's getting along good, better setlist, I know Ain't Talkin... is on there. It's on vhs though. If you can find a dvd of that show, it's worth it. Come to think of it, if you find a copy, let me know so I can get a copy.

I don't think Extreme ever toured with them. I saw Collective Soul open first and then in the summer it was Skid Row and Our Lady Peace opened. Extreme opened for Roth on one of his tours I believe.

I saw this show at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo. You could tell Eddie was in pain from his hip because he was hardly moving around. The sound was great, but I could have lived without hearing "Big Fat Money" live. Worst song on that album for sure...even worse LIVE.

Wow I was 36. I saw them at Merriweather outside Baltimore. Best Van Hagar gig I ever went to. I was in the pit. Blew me away to this day.

That was my favorite Hagar era tour, they came through Dallas twice, the first time was at the beginning of the tour, with Collective Soul opening, great show! They came back around In October with Skid Row and Brother Cane, i had 4th row for that one, it kicked so much ass i cant even begin to tell you!! Loved It!!

I can't even keep the opening acts straight anymore.

I wish I had gotten to see Collective Soul open, but I know it wasn't them. I must have gottent the Skid Row/Brother Cane combo. Woo-hoo....
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
