Funny ... I'm thinking about getting rid of my rack stuff and buying pedals.

I have a really basic rack setup ... a wireless system, a power conditioner, a rack tuner, and a G-Major effects processor.
The problem is, I'm a real tard when it comes to understanding midi programming.

I really like the effects on the G-Major and it has some pretty nice features but ... I'm using a Behringer foot controller and I've yet to find a way to overlap effects like a stomp box setup or program the expression pedals.
Behringer has absolutely no product support either.
They simply refer you to "Google forums".

I'm sure if I wasn't such a midi tard, I could get it to do everything I want, but as it now stands, I'm really considering selling it and just buying pedals.

Check out the Alesis MicroVerb. You can get a used one for about $50. They have great reverbs, delays and chorus.. I believe a new one is about $199

My Rocktron Chameleon does everything I've ever needed. Great piece of gear and you can get used ones real cheap. Some of later models can be hooked up to your PC for modeling tones.

thats why i originally bought the pedals im using. i had a digitech 2112 like 13 years ago that i got rid of because it was a pain to set up and change. but i think im smarter now and my pedalboard is taking up way too much floor space.

I use both pedals and the rack pieces, depending on whether I'm playing live or playing at home. Pedals for home, obviously, and an old Digitech Legend II for playing live. I prefer the distortions that my individual pedals have but as for reverb, chorus, phasers, flange, etc, I need the rack otherwise I'd have way too many pedals.
