Default is this "new" release a bootleg?

I'm sure this is a bootleg. anyone seen/heard about this? says it comes out March 2, 2009. these Broadcast Rarities are apparently a series of CDs with other artists like Springsteen, etc.

and if this has been discussed elsewhere here at vhlinks I apologize.

This looks like yet another repackaging of the US Festival show. This has started to be an annual release, as parts of it showed up here last year:

    http://www.amazon.com/Van-Halen-Rari...2071959&sr=1-8

Here is the track listing for the current release, which this time around appears to be a CD version.

    1. Romeo Delight
    2. Unchained
    3. The Full Bug
    4. Runnin’ With The Devil
    5. Jamie’s Cryin’
    6. So This Is Love?
    7. Little Guitars
    8. Dancing In The Street
    9. Somebody Get Me A Doctor
    10. Dance The Night Away
    11. Cathedral
    12. Secrets
    13. Everybody Wants Some!
    14. Ice Cream Man
    15. Intruder
    16. (Oh) Pretty Woman
    17. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love
    18. Bottoms Up
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

Just another patchwork of boot tracks or demos, undoubtedly.

The US Festival is bad enough WITH the video, I can't imagine listening to the CD only so that you can't see how bad in the bag they all are.

Wish one of them would have had the sense to just say "you know what, this is probably going to be the biggest gig of our lives, lets hit the stage sober, tear it up like they have never seen before, and then get bombed out of our minds AFTER the show."
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

DONATE TO THE LINKS YA CHEAP BASTARDS!!!!

The following video showed up at youtube recently, and if you had given any thought toward picking up this crummy package ("Van Halen Live Rarities", it can be found on the cheap at Amazon and other sites), one glance at this brief clip should change your mind. The image is "framed" throughout, which not only distracts from what you are attempting to watch, yet also shrinks the image. This may work on a large screen tv, yet otherwise...
A detestable mess, and please avoid at any cost.

Seriously! If they weren't getting along at the time, they were certainly on the same page with alcohol abuse. Largo all the way. The U.S. Festival show is only good near the end when the buzz was wearing down.

Yep, I made the mistake of buying this. How anyone thought the frame was a good idea is just beyond me.
