I have been busy building Cotton Candy.

"What the hell is Cotton Candy?" you ask. Well, she is a new guitar based on the Jamie guitar. Go to my myspacepage (www.myspace.com/dougdarocker) and you will find out about both guitars. Just go to the photo sections to see.

I decided to do a Jamie "Special", with a mahogany body by USACG (Wolfpack model), single humbucker, no binding, no laminated top. Bare bones is the theme. She started off with a base colour called "ballet slipper". Remember, cotton candy is blue AND pink. This guitar will probably melt in your mouth just like the confection...

I will use a '90s Fender Strat neck (from a '54 reissue). I am also using a black Floyd Rose (w/brass sustain block) , a Seymour Duncan EVH '78 pup, Gibson pot, Schaller tuners, and a Strat tone knob.

Why is she called "Cotton Candy"? Wouldn't you like to know...
