Default Pro Tools Plug Ins Help

Hey, I need some help with pro tools. I have an iMac that is a about 4 years old with OSX. I recently got a copy of some better plug-ins than what I am using. I currently operate Pro Tools LE with a basic MBOX. Does anyone know what folder I need to copy this information into so that I can get them to work??? The person I got them from does not remember either.... it was a long time ago when he copied them into his system but he confirms that they do work. Any suggestions??
As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.

Been over a year since I worked in PT (the Gtr Room Xmas jam is coming, I
swear), but my directory looks like this:

    Apps/
    Digidesign/
    Pro Tools/
    Plug-ins(alias)
    ...

PT is pretty quirky about registration and authenticating. Maybe they work
on your buds system, but will they copy over? Dunno. Maybe they only work
with more current versions of OSX.

What version of OSX are you using and also what version of Pro Tools?
You should be able to go to your Macintosh HD then go to the Library folder then go to the Audio folder which in turn has Folders for relevant plug-ins.
As stated above there is a plugs folder inside the Digidesign folder as well.
It also depends on what kind of plugs they are and what brand (Waves has a plugs folder in the applications folder and many instruments such as BFD also have folders in the applications folder)
