    Default Chorus Pedals

I am looking to get a chorus pedal. I've been looking at the MXR M-134 but I was curious to see what others use and might suggest.

i have used boss and digitech chorus pedals for years and always liked them, but recently ive been using a tc electronics G-Sharp for all my delay and chorus effects.....although recently ive been using chorus little less and using a detuner (similar effect but not quite the same) a little more.

I've been eying Digitechs new line of pedals. They have a new chorus that models several of the chorus pedals out on the market, and best of all, these new pedals have true bypass. Yeaaaa!

Iv'e used the Boss Chorus Ensemble pedals for years. They're great. It gives more of a 80's/90's Ed type sound (84 to Balance) if that's your thing but it also just does a great job of thickening your sound in stereo. I set it very mild and it approximates his Harmonizer settings relatively well . It does'nt really sound like the retro pedals out there, which have a lot of sweep. It more or less rounds out the sound more than anything. It also makes harmonics pop nicely, especially with a 5150 amp straight through the FX loop.
She looks so $#@!'n good ,so sexy and so frail....Somethin's got the bite on me, I'm goin' straight to Hell.

I posted this exact same topic on another site. I'm looking for a chorus pedal as well and I'm leaning toward the MXR as well.

There are a number a of good one. Voodoo Labs analog chorus. Fulltone Choral Flange. The older Boss CE-2 and CE-3. When I was a kid I had an Arion chorus that I always loved but sold off. Apparently they are quite in vogue with some players today

fulltone and voodoo lab are good...I've been using a Deluxe Memory Man for years...has fantastic chorus and with a flip of a switch it turns into vibrato. Also has fantastic organic delay with big knobs that make it really easy to attack and "play the pedal." It's one of my all-time favourite boxes.

I think you meant "Boss DC-3". I'd buy one if I spotted it in the wild.

I own the Boss DC-2 Dimension pedal!

I used to have an MXR Micro Chorus. It got stolen, and I've never seen another since. It was a simple one-knob pedal, same size as a Phase 90. Amazingly full chorus out of it, perfect for Police songs.

I bought the MXR chorus on faith (because I love MXR stuff so much). It's been phenomenal. Easy to use, easy to adjust levels and rates, sounds excellent...

So I just got back from the store. I bought the MXR Chorus and I broke down and bought an EVH Flanger. My pedal will now include a Hendrix wah, BBE clean boost, Seymour Duncan Twin Turbo Overdrive, Boss rotary sim, MXR Chorus and EVH Flanger...I also have a buddha overdrive and a deluxe memory man that will now pretty much be homebound. On its way to me is a heil talk box and a theramin...I must be out of my mind!
