They have Roth listed at 9 as the front man for VH. There was even a mention of the 07-08 tour and that his pipes were as good as ever.

    2. Freddie Mercury
    3. Rod Stewart
    4. Roger Daltrey
    5. Bono
    6. Mick Jagger

I hope they mean "of the video era", because Elvis, Ray Charles and Sinatra belong in the top ten more than some of these dopes.

    1. Robert Plant
    2. Freddie Mercury
    3. Rod Stewart
    4. Roger Daltrey
    5. Bono
    6. Mick Jagger
    7. Steve Perry
    8. Prince
    9. David Lee Roth
    10. Axl Rose

Yep, know what you mean, chef. Not quite sure where they were going with this as the Plant clip they show is with Led Zep, not exactly red hot even back when Mtv was actually showing videos.

Of course, you can guess which song clip they did for Roth.....yep, Jump.

    For good reason.

And get that homo Rod Stewart off that list. No way that schmuck is a top 10 lead singer, nevermind #3.

    Gotta love "lists".

Lists are always a matter of opinion. I'm wondering where the heck is Paul Rodgers and why the heck is Prince on there???

If we are truly talking "singers", i would agree with four of the ten listed. As much as i love VH, DLR doesn't make my list of top ten "best singers".

I hate lists like this. Are they made just to give people something to talk/debate about?

They obviously weren't going by the quality of vocals...

I think they are inferring front men of a band.

If they were actually comprising a list of pure singers, Rockin' Rod, Bono, the Mick, Dave, Prince, and Axl should be no where near it.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!
