Default Ok I admit it, I like Sarah Brightman

I'm a 80's rocker at heart but about a month ago I heard this song on the radio that sounded like an angel singing over a sweeping gothic, guitar pounding beat. The song is called 'Fleur Du Mal' from Sarah Brightman. Apparently she is the original singer for the Phantom of the Opera. So I go out and buy her most recent album 'Symphony'. I'm feeling pretty weird buying this as it was not my normal musical taste and then I notice that Paul Stanley of KISS has a duet with her on the CD! I'm a huge KISS fan and if Sarah Brightman is good enough for Paul Stanley than she is good enough for me! Her voice is just incredible and I find her incredibly beautiful. I got tickets to see her show in Anaheim, CA. So my current concert line-up next month is AC/DC on Dec 8th, Metallica on Dec 12th and Sarah Brightman on Dec 19 and I'm excited about them all especially Sarah! I feel better getting that out in the open...........

She isn't my cup of tea but I'm in love with Lisa Gerrard so far be it for me to pass judgement. Rock on. She did divorce Andrew Lloyd Webber so she's got that going for her.

It helps that she is pretty freakin' hot!!!! I will join you in admitting that I like Sarah Brightman. I think I have 3 of her CD's. It doesn't matter how many times I hear "Time to Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro)" I still get goosebumps every time. I would recommend "Eden" for your next purchase and then "Time to Say Goodbye" Nothing wrong with a nice mix of music. It can't all be Poundcake and Romeo's Delight.

    I'm sure you do.

I'm going to get up in the middle of the night, steal my wife's Celine Dion and Josh Groban discs, gift wrap them and send them to you and Jes Halen and VHR.

Partly for being good sports and not coming unglued at my smart ass "Fag" comments, and partly because i get the uneasy feeling you'll enjoy them.

The only thing thing that has me stinging in that thread is Viking, so i've tried to stay out of there.

Moving to Canada because you don't like the new president is a little strange.
Even with a somewhat redneck rightwing type Prime Minister like Stephen Harper, I think we're still quite left of Obama.

Checking this thread out of curiosity and also b/c I've never heard of Sarah Brightman. Still don't know who she is.
