Thanks, Jeff, for a great interview. Mikey is such a cool dude. I had to laugh at the end of the second clip, because it reminded me of the "Chris Farley Show".
"Hey, you remember that show in Oakland back in '79? That was awesome ."

Thanks again, cant wait to hear more.

I'm not so sure that I could agree with there being no full concerts shot from the DLR era Halen. For one, the Capital Center in Largo, which was brand new at the time, was said to have Pro Shot filmed any major rock act who played there. Van Halen was one of them. They played there in both 1980 & '82. Then, you've got the Oakland show that could either be in Ed's hands or Warner Bros. It's also been long rumored that Noel Monk had the full Oakland shows before passing too. Somebody has these. I refuse to believe otherwise.

Great stuff! I liked the comment that the new stuff is going to include a heavy dose of Anthony background vocals.

I would also like to hear that heavier version of Feels So Good.

he even sounds a little nostalgic for the "good ol' days" .... before things went south.

    Thanks, Jeff!

Mike is such a down-to-earth, cool, genuine guy. He deserves much success, and certainly a medal for being a consumate professional during his time in VH.

In the first segment of the interview, why is it than when Jeff asks about the release date of the CD (at 5:23), MA's response is garbled or edited out?
