    Default Comcast cable Vs AT&T

Which is better. I had an AT&T guy come to my door offering me great prices to switch over to their cable system, I have Comcast. Does anybody have either and can you help me out. Thanks.

I'm running Verizon FIOS, but switched from Comcast, who I really never had a problem with.

Did the guy give you any rate/ download information on the satellite broadband they offer now by chance? I might like to grab that.

Both are offering introductory "bundle packages" (tv, internet and telephone) here for roughly $99 for three months, which sounds tremendously reasonable...however, NO mention of monthly rates thereafter.

Would this be straight AT&T or U-Verse? I've had both and Comcast, too.

I set up a N-Band wireless network at my folks' house this last week. From the opposite end of the house (wireless) I was d-loading at around 768 versus the 350 or so with U-verse. The U-Verse package is the pro (medium), while the Comcast is the basic package.

That said, in my area the Comcast customer service sux.

Where TV is concerned, U-Verse blows anything I've seen thus far away. Probably around 30% better picture than Dish, Comcast, etc. Pricing is comparable if not cheaper.

Go with the Comcast, customer service might be difficult at times but actually getting a technician to show up at your house that same day or the next is sure worth it without waiting a week or I've know people who have waited 4 weeks for an appointment FOR A REPAIR!

Plus its so much faster at 16mg and faster with that power boost thing.
