That was a pretty cool depiction. Nice music behind it too. I wonder which dumb ass reporter will be the first to try and broadcast from ground zero. Probably Giraldo Rivera. We can only hope.

The challenge of the human race is to achieve the ability to thwart an incident like this. That is if we dont destroy ourselves first.

Looks like you would have just enough time to say " Oh SHIT " Does the saying "always wear clean underwear in case you are in an accident" count in this situation???

I had to mute the music because of that squalling bitch.

I thought the whole thing was kind of dumb.

I can't believe you just said that about the music... That's one of the most awesome pieces of music ever recorded in my opinion.

Weird thought, but it made me wonder about the folks living in the International Space Station if this happened. Six-point-five billion people wiped out before their eyes, no home to return to.

    Good times.

To you and me the odds look great.

Now, imagine you are a creationist and believe that the world is actually only 6000 years old.

Russians and Americans would be the only ones to get thru that mess. What with all the underground vaults we've build in the last century.

There was a chapter in Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles" that dealt with a similar idea. Some of the folks that went to Mars watched in disbelief and horror as mankind destroyed the Earth via nuclear weapons. I think the segment was called "The Off Season".
