I don't know why, but I find this one really funny. In a good way, of course.

Someone needed to do a little more research. They've obviously never seen the lyrics to Souce of Infection.

She jumped the chain? Okay, Sammy, let's leave INVENTING metaphors to Shakespeare and James Joyce and Faulkner and people like that.

Actually, I think you're right. Although, what would it matter?

"Is everybody ready? Come oooooooooooooon!" Sounds like the opening of a kids' show on PBS.

How about, "you grab that line, I'll grab that pole....meet you down at the ole fishin' hole."

Give the guy a little credit though. At least he stopped himself from writing, "check the hands on the clock, hickory dickory dock, it's time to rock."

Lol...Aww, poor Sam. He did write the lyrics to " When It's Love", and I think they're wonderful! I love them.

Hey, did Sam and Ed both write the lyrics to "Human's Being", or was it just Sam? I LOVE those lyrics too!!

Actually, that's a line from an old traditional number called "The Crawdad Song". I remember it from when I was a kid watching "The Andy Griffith Show". Andy sang it in one of the episodes.

You get a line and I'll get a pole, Honey,
You get a line and I'll get a pole, Babe.
You get a line and I'll get a pole,
We'll go fishin' in the crawdad hole,
    Honey, Baby mine.

Yeah, an Andy reference can't be all bad. But to follow that up with "we wind em up...and let em go..."

Keeping with the "childhood" theme, how's about this...

I think that Ed wrote a little of it like the first few lines and then he added his voice to the end of the song after Sam was gone.

Sam's best lyrically with VH was probably "Right Now".

Thanks! I thought so. Don't you just LOVE Ed's voice in it? It adds lots of spice to such a great song!!
