    Default Dimarzio Back Pickup Plate

I have one of Mitchell's (Meanstreet Guitars) Intruder bridge pickups that I have really liked in my 5150 guitar I built and want to put one in my Axis. The Axis pickup is just too thin/bright. Problem is that the back metal pickup plate 'tang' heigths (that allow you to screw it down into the body) are different and the pickup sits up too high (against the strings actually). I'm going to have to re-mount the pickup into a Dimarzio back plate. Anyone know where I might find one/them (F spaced)? Maybe if anyone has a Dimarzio pickup that's damaged, etc., that I might be able to use as scrap, we can work something out.

    Thanks
    Chris

Ask Stew-Mac and see what their plates are like. I don't think F-spaced matters on those plates. Why make a piece of metal different than platic. Plastic is cheaper to mod than metal (just my guess).
