    what a joke.
If eddie were down and out on a sidewalk playing guitar I'd be next to him with a bottle and a blanky braving the cold. I would be sucking my thumb happily making chupa chupa noises in sync with the petroglyphic sounds that came from the mighty finger tips of Edward Van Halen.

Nothing against Mike or any other bassist, but I have never once been entertained by a bass solo. BORING.

The ONLY good thing about having Wolf in the band is no bass solo.

Actually, I take that back, I did like the Billy Sheehan/Steve Vai double solo they did on the EEAS tour, but that is about it.

I prefer the way Rush does it in concert, with an instrumental jam in which each member has a brief 5-10 second spotlight spaced throughout the song. Saw them a week ago: good show.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

At least Michael ACTUALLY PLAYS his bass LIVE, and doesn't have it PRE-RECORDED....

Millie Van Halfass pulled the wool really tight this time out!

Well I'd like to see this one. I'm probably one of the few that actually likes Mikey's bass solos. The sounds he can get out of a bass are pretty kewl.

At least to me anyways. So where is it?

Yeah, that part! Some of us are in the know. And others, well, they aren't.
