I'd love to see Van Halen, the band, rockin' again but not under any circumstances. If it's not Dave or Sammy, I'm not interested in seeing a 4th lead singer. I'd just as well see the core of the band go their separate ways and reinvent themselves in some other way.

I'd be curious at the least if its not Dave or Sammy and would probably buy the album. But after what happend with the failure of VH3, the general public just will never accept them again. So if no dave or no Sam, VH will be finished.

Unless they bring in an icon like Robert Plant.

For some reason I would love to hear what Eddie & Ozzy could come up with together.

I guess anyone who frequents these boards would be considered "desperate". I just want the Roth Reunion to happen so MTV will start playing rock music again...lol!! I doubt that would even happen. MTV has its head so far up its ass, it would never happen. I just need something cool to listen to again. Since Megadeth broke up, I am wondering who the bands are that are really going to keep non-turntable, non hip-hop rock alive. STP is one band I know of, but they are only one band. I guess it is just a taste and opinion kind of thing.
Van Halen without the original 4 is just not Van Halen.

I'm so desperate for VH that I'd let lots of beautiful women strip naked in front of me and...well, you know the rest . I'd also be willing to spend a paycheck for VH with Dave, and probably the same with Sam-hell, that's probably the case with any incarnation of the band. I'd pay to see Eddie play with anyone. I'd even spend a paycheck AND let the girls dance naked in front of me. (man, what a sacrifice )

does everyone here actually thing VH with Roth will bring MTV back to playing rock? I love VH and have for a long time but they need to do what they want, put out cds and make kick ass music that is no longer commercially viable. Roth will not sell, Sammy will not sell. VH is DEAD with rock music cause I pray to GOD that they will never remix anything. The only hope for stardom is another hit single which i really think can only happen with Sam

Very desperate. I can't believe the last VH album came out when I was in 7th grade and I'm going to be a senior in high school next month.
