Sam please cover Baba O'Riley on your next tour. You can replace the BB 'Party'.

Hagar was such a great solo artist. He had serious integrity in his music. Very enjoyable.

A student's dad passed this entire concert off on VHS to me last year. Yeah, it's way dated, but I'd seen very little Sam solo stuff prior to his VH tenure, and that concert really demonstrated to me how great of a solo performer he's always been.

Love the part where he says " If you missed them, to bad, cause we're never gonna see them again" - Kinda funny.

    Nice.

A couple of day's after this show, the tour came thru Davenport Iowa(my hometown.) Night Ranger opened the show and was fantastic. Sammy and the band took the stage and absolutely KILLED. To this day it is still one of the best concerts i have ever seen.

Sam called back to the local radio station the next day to thank the crowd for the incredible energy the night before. Ever hear of any artist calling back to a town after they have you're money? He has always appreciated his fans.

Here is another one from that show in St Louis. Check out the TA and see if you all can spot the 97x sticker on the quarter panel or door. That is the radio station in Davenport. It's also where the 2 dorks work.

edit: don't think you will be able to spot the sticker in this vid. I believe it may be in another vid from this tour.

I've been searching high and low for this DVD the past two years and have never been able to find it.

    It's a good one!

I've seen it pop up on E-bay a few times over the past few months. The seller is some record store in St. Louis. It usually goes for around 20-40 bucks. I still have a bootleg version of it on VHS with HSAS's Through the Fire concert on it. One day I'll get around to converting it. I've never been able to find any VOA tour video boots out there at all. I'd love to see one of those.

The Who has continued and have had some great tours and I know Moon wasn't around on the last tour Sammy is refering to but we never got a chance to see the 'younger' Who again. Personally I loved the 89 show and think Simon Phillips was incredible on that tour. I wish he would of continued with The Who instead of Starkey because I think Phillips is one of the greats who's name isn't known by most. He does some great work on some solo Townshend that you can find on Youtube.

The Who w/ Simon Phillips in 89- Amazing Journey/Sparks:
