    LOL.

Well, I think the Celtics are pretty well set for next year if they can bring back at least Posey, maybe House too. I think Powe and Baby should develop well enough to replace PJ, although they are both short for post players, and I am expecting Rondo to take another big step in development. He was night and day better than last year, if he continues to work on his J, he is going to be a legit all star candidate next year. IF he puts the time in and improves like he did last offseason.

However, I wouldn't mind seeing another PG in town to back up Rondo. That was their one big weakness, a back up PG who could handle. They had two who could shoot, but nobody who could bring the ball up under pressure. Maybe Pruitt continues to get better and is the answer, who knows.

I don't think Rondo will be a contender for an all star....he'd have to pump that jumper up a LOT. He'll be a great Junior though.

I am SO looking forward to next year for my beloved Blazers. I'm hoping Oden has his legs under him and shakes the rookie wall by December, and that we get over 50 percent and have our asses planted firmly in the playoffs next year. WCF contender by the year after is my goal and Championship in 3 years (on the seenbad aggressive plan).

I'd like to see us shore up the one spot. I'm tired of Blake, Jack and Rodriguez. I'd love to see us let go of a combo of one or two of those guys, along with Martel Webster for a decent one guard and change. I'm done with Martel too. Maybe even Outlaw, but I'm hoping we gut it out with him for another year before really looking at trading him.

Brandon Roy, Lamarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden baby. That's the core. Also curious to see how this Rudy Fernandez kid from Spain does. Don't know much about him but if he's worth his hype, maybe he could go at the two or three as a starter? Who knows. I'm comfortable with Roy at point, but would rather him create from the 2.

Exciting year though for sure. Can't friggn' wait.

Well it's the first time since the Lakers won in 2002 that I feel great about next season.

Seen don't dream too big. At least wait until Oden gets on the court first.

I don't think it's too big, and it's admittedly aggressive, but I want it to happen before contracts start expiring.

Give the Blazers a few years and they will be contenders. They have a good nuclease.

So...Brett. I was thinking a bit today...not that this would help us on the defensive end, but I am almost starting to become a believer that Marion might have been a good trade for Odom after all...what do you think? He would have given us consistency in rebounding and scoring, and a legitimate CONSISTENT 3-point threat. I at least believe what we got from him, he would have brough tit every night.

I am also starting to believe that the Odom/Gasol/Bynum frontline will not end up being the starting lineup. I really think that Ariza is going to end up starting, and Gasol will actually end up coming off the bench, leaving the starting lineup next year as Fisher, Bryant, Ariza, Odom, and Bynum...of course I haven't thought this through too much, though, as I have been at work now for 9.5 hours....

I would love to have Marion over Odom. Anyday of the week! Like I said, I'm done with Lamar, he needs to go if the Lakers are going to win it next year. He can't play the 3, and he's not the type of 3 we need. We need a defensive 3, that's the bottom line. And absolutely I agree we need a 3 that can shoot the 3 too. With Bynum and Gasol, we'll get the rebounding we need inside. That's Lamar's one strength is he is a good rebounder, but I think we can replace that enough with a good 3.

I am also starting to believe that the Odom/Gasol/Bynum frontline will not end up being the starting lineup. I was reading a Laker forum and from a pretty reliable source he said that Ariza will not be back, that Phil doesn't like his game...which is why he keeps throwing Luke out there. I found that interesting. So I'm not sure about what's going to happen with Ariza, who was a difference-maker when he got the chance to play in these playoffs.

damn you've soured on Odom, we certainly had the Marion/Odom debate in the past. You've done a 180 on him, and I can't blame you to be honest. Lamar was so hot and cold this playoff.

Good to see Phil sees the same good qualities in Ariza (that being none) that I do.

I think there's a couple of possible free agents that could be good fits for the 3 spot. We've already discuss Josh Smith, Artest and Maggette. I think another option that might be available would be Luol Deng. I think the Bulls might have to choose between him and Ben Gordon and there's no guarantee that they'll choose Deng. Eduardo Najera, Grant Hill and Ryan Gomes might be some cheaper options who could be good fits.
